Ester is a commonly used yet rarely understood term in the realms of steroid terminology... Lets look at a few of the most commonly asked questions about esters. Q: Im completely lost when it comes to steroid esters. Can you please shed a little light on what the term means, and why they matter to me? A: An ester can best be described as a flavor of steroid which releases into the body at a different rate... All steroids of this nature begin with the plain ol winner testosterone... Then, the testosterone is manipulated so that it is absorbed into the body at different rates... Sometimes these esters, or slower-releasing steroids, are stacked by the user who mixes them himself... Or, they may be mixed at a laboratory, and then sold to users who are excited about a pre-mixed potion of several testosterones which release at their own rates... Q: Okay, I follow esters. What is Esterification? A: Esterification is the process by which a steroid molecule is manipulated so that the steroid (testosterone) is released into your bloodstream more slowly. Q: Okay, I get it. You have found a way to slow down the release of a steroid. Why in the world would I want my steroids getting to my body slower? A: Slow down and rethink your question... This time, remember that your body can only absorb so much of a steroid at a time... Imagine you are looking at a plate with 40 pounds of delicious steak on it... Obviously, you would love to enjoy the benefits (taste and protein) of this steak all at once... But you know your body can only assimilate 50 or 60 grams of the protein, and youre aware your stomach may hold about two pounds before youre quite full. Your muscle receptors are the same way when it comes to steroids... The oil can be present in your body, releasing testosterone at either a fast or a slow rate... The fast rate, such as you see with testosterone suspension, means that your body receives a giant shot of steroid over 3 days, and then your levels plummet... Youll absorb your maximum level, but much will be wasted. With esters, the steroid is released much more slowly... You still enjoy maximum absorption, as it is a fixed variable... However you may enjoy it for 10 or 14 days, instead of three... This means you will require fewer steroid shots, and see more consistent results. No more yo-yo Test levels in your bloodstream... Q: How would I want to manage several testosterones to enjoy the best release rate? A: Ideally, you would want to buy a drug such as Sustanon which would combine several of these different-rate releasers into a single shot... However, if you were making your own due to limited opportunity or available product, you would want to choose a testosterone that released in say, 3 days, and stack it with a drug that released for 7 days... You would inject every 3 to 5 days, and always be on that peak high of testosterone release...
