What Is Bromocriptine and How Does It Work?

Bromo is an anti-prolactin... Prolactin is a single-chain protein hormone closely related to growth hormone... It is secreted by so-called lactotrophs in the anterior pituitary... It is also synthesized and secreted by a broad range of other cells in the body, most prominently various immune cells, the brain and the decidua of the pregnant uterus... Prolactin is synthesized as a prohormone... But here’s the thing… Anyone who hears that something increases GH or synethsizes as a prohormone is all over it like white on rice as if that’s the end of the whole story... While we’ve heard some people report that it makes them very hard and helps minimize muscle loss from T3 use, most find Bromo’s side effects to be too severe... Bromo increases GH in normal individuals, and also prevents the production and secretion of prolactin from the mammary area (in men) if aromatization has occurred through the use of AAS... But ironically, it actually decreases GH in those who have legitimate giantism (Acromegaly)... But remember, it takes about 100mg daily to show an increase in GH... We have seen people have much better luck with Dostinex, because Bromo has a ton of side effects at low doses of even 2mg daily... __________
