Avoid Damaging Your Nerves During Steroid Site Injections

Hitting nerves is never good, but it may be unavoidable if you do AAS for any length of time... Usually you have an immediate feedback about hitting a nerve, Like a quick sense of pain, sometimes soreness soon after and depending on the steroid, if you hit a vein you can get a metal taste in you mouth... Sometimes an injection is just slightly more painful than another and you hit a small nerve... Other times, the pain can be unbearable. It’s one reason to stay away from small body parts, where nerve endings may be concentrated... Delts, calves, thighs can be tough spots to avoid doing damage... To know if you are going into a danger zone, you should technically go in slow... I know, I know, no one wants to go slow and wants to just jab, but it’s the only way to know if you feel a twinge and stop...I've been going in slow for years now and that's the only way I can do it anymore...I feel much more safe going that way and their have been several times that I had to pull out the needle because I did feel a sudden pain... Make sure you use a 5/8ths inch needle in shallow body parts to avoid hitting nerves...A great site to see where exactly to inject for all body parts is www.spotinjections.com _______________
