How Steroids Affect A Persons Metabolism

Have you ever wondered why so many people take steroids and yet they are fully aware of there side effects? This question has really puzzled me... I guess the reason could be it’s because they are more concerned about there looks than there health... Sometimes it’s very dangerous to throw caution in the wind... Many bodybuilders and athletes tend to do this because they are more concerned about gaining lean muscles... It’s a fact that steroids will increase the natural levels of testosterone in the body... Testosterones will heighten protein synthesis in the muscles and this lead to fast muscle growth... This is because proteins are the building blocks of muscles... For those people who are looking to develop there muscles fast then steroids will help them achieve this... So how does anabolic steroids affect body metabolism? The one factor which controls metabolism is the number of lean body muscles available in the body... As we stated earlier, anabolic steroids help increase the number of lean body muscles... When this happens your body metabolism will consequently increase... Various clinical researches on metabolism have shown that an average healthy person can be able to burn up to 9000 calories if they have sufficient amounts of lean muscles in there body... For those who want to lose weight permanently, they need to consider going to the gym and do some weight training... This is because steroids alone will not make them increase body muscle you also need to include weight training... When it comes to burning fat, aerobics are not very effective when compared to weight training... The reason why weight training is more effective is because it leas to the increase in body muscles. Lean body muscles are active tissues and as such they need a lot of energy.. .You will thus be able to burn a lot of when you are training and also when you are sleeping since the muscles will need constant supply of energy... However with aerobics you are only able to temporarily increase your RMR... Thus you will only be able to burn calories for that short time your RMR is elevated due to aerobic exercises... __________________
